QRS has a Board of three Directors.
| Chairman/Director: Dennis Munro A foundation Board member, the last seven years as Chairman, Dennis has overseen the transformation of QRS from a division of council to a competent and profitable civil construction company. A local farmer, Dennis is committed to regional development in the Wairoa District. |
| Director: Mike Jarvis Mike’s experience as a District Council Engineer and later as CEO of Central Hawkes Bay Works (a roading and civil engineering Company) brings a life-time of experience to the Board table. |
| Director: Guy Gaddum As owner of Gaddum Construction Ltd, based in Rotorua, Guy brings engineering and project management experience to the QRS Board Table. He has a keen interest in governance and the issues/opportunities that QRS Face. |
Management Team
| Chief Executive Officer – Leigh Aitken N.Z.C.E., R.E.A Ten years as CEO, Leigh brings an abundance of local technical knowledge to his management team with 20 years of civil engineering experience in the Wairoa District. Performing many engineering roles with the Wairoa County and District Councils over a 14 year period, he was responsible for developing the roading asset especially in his final position as the District Roading Engineer. Applying sound engineering principles, team motivation, developing accurate monitoring and recording systems are some of the more important directions he brings to this company. |
 | Maintenance Manager - Tony O’Sullivan Tony O’Sullivan has over 25 years knowledge and experience in road maintenance and infrastructure. His past history of pavement fault analysis and task identification on the Transit New Zealand Maintenance Contracts groomed him for his current position with QRS. Tony manages the Wairoa District Councils Roading Maintenance Contracts. Experience in these contracts equips him with an intricate knowledge of local roading facilities. Valuing close liaison with the client and users, Tony has built up an excellent track record and reputation. |

| Financial Controller - Karen Burger Karen worked with QRS as Corporate Manager for many years and after a brief absence Karen returned to QRS in a new role18 months ago and is currently 1 year into a 3 year study program to acquire an MBA. The skills and knowledge Karen has already gained are proving to be of great benefit to QRS. As a respected Leader of the Financial Team Karen’s previous experience puts her in good position to handle the challenges that her role with QRS bring. |
