Our Resources

Our Plant and Equipment is primarily civil construction and road maintenance machinery.  Over the last few years the company has upgraded and improved equipment through an aggressive capital replacement programme.  The company has a large inventory of plant to complete a multitude of work tasks and sufficient replacements for any emergency work.

Our plant includes:  - Two 20 ton Excavators - Eleven loaders - Six Large trucks and/or tractor units

We employ five mechanics and one fitter welder to administer preventive maintenance techniques. Emergency operations are backed up by a mobile servicing unit.  Currently the workshop holds the ENZED Hydraulic Hose Franchise.

Metal Pits

QRS currently operates 17 aggregate sites in both red, river metal and lime extraction.  A range of aggregate types meets the requirements of road maintenance and construction. Regular quality control through aggregate sampling and testing has allowed QRS to gain valuable knowledge regarding this resource, modifying production to meet customer demands.

QRS owns and operates four mobile crushing units. As managers of a large number of quarries, QRS has a good understanding of both the customer’s requirements and the safe management and operation of quarries.
