A strong and successful company growing the Wairoa community.
“There’s a good nucleus of boys coming through and with positive attitudes and a commitment to individual fitness. That raw talent is going to make for some exciting rugby.”
Pre-season training is underway for the 25-strong squad and competition for the final team spots will be fierce, Mr Solomon predicts.
“Once the team is confirmed we’re looking forward to showcasing the sort of rugby our college First XV has been known for over the past few seasons.”
This year the team will be travelling with Quality Roading and Services-sponsored bags and drink bottles.
“Just like working at QRS, playing for the First XV is physical, rewarding, and fun, says QRS chief executive Nigel Pollock. “Whether you’re out on the field, or out on the roads, we all want the job done safely, done well.”
Mr Solomon is grateful. “Sport provides a platform for people to come together and make a positive impact on a community. With this kind of support the First XV will continue to punch above its weight.”
