Meet project supervisor Aaron Munro

Aaron Munro canva

Aaron is Kahungunu and has been with QRS for nearly five years. He previously worked in the building industry and the freezing works.

As a QRS capital team project supervisor Aaron is expected to make sure his team of 25 staff have everything they need to do their job which is why he was keen for the digger to arrive.

At the moment Aaron and the crew are working on New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) Safety Boost contract. The Safety Boost Programme is part of the Safe Network Programme – a collaborative, prioritised programme of proven safety improvements on high risk routes across New Zealand. He and his staff are also working on flood repair work and maintenance contracts for Wairoa District Council and the Saferoads contract also with NZTA.

Aaron’s responsibilities include organising sub contractors, regularly reviewing project plans, and discussing any potential issues to make certain that the project can be completed on time and within budget.

Aaron is a very busy man outside of work bringing up his children aged 4-14 with the help of extended family. There’s nothing he enjoys more than spending time with them, and diving at Mahia.
