Connecting and growing our communities.
As a student at Wairoa College, Rose Campbell was perhaps best-known for her fine vocal skills, but soon she'll be singing to a different tune. Rose is joining the New Zealand Police and while she's waiting for her intake, she is honing her people skills at Quality Roading and Services.
A friendly face at the QRS reception desk since early 2019, Rose (19) has also been learning about office process and says it will all be a big help in her future life.
In terms of deciding her future, Rose spent time with her police officer uncle and was fascinated by what she saw.
“With the police, every day is different and you get to help people in many different ways,” she says.
“Here at QRS I've learned a lot about developing skills in working with people in a professional manner and I think that is going to be a big help going forward.”
