A strong and successful company growing the Wairoa community.
After travelling overseas, Emma Wills was keen to join her partner who was working on a sheep and beef farm 45 minutes out of Wairoa. But there was no way she'd make the move until she had secured a good job.
So at the end of 2017 Emma joined QRS, where she takes care of reception and administration duties, including some accounts and data input, as well as sitting in on board meetings to take the minutes.
The 20-year-old says it's a job that’s getting better all the time: with a marketing paper already under her belt, Emma's employers are right behind her in furthering her studies towards a Bachelor of Business.
“They have been really supportive and encouraging and it's nice to know that I can enjoy living in Wairoa and at the same time establish a solid career.”
