Connecting and growing our communities.
When arguably the biggest pine in the district smashed onto Clifton and Lyall Road near Frasertown on 7 March 2018, QRS' Tony O’Sullivan knew it’d be a big clean up. The colossal tree was blocking the road, and atrocious belts of torrential rain weren’t helping. But as so often happens says Tony, QRS staff were impatient to respond.
“This kind of work is sudden, reactive, and our crews relish the chance to help out.” It took 7 QRS staff with a 23-tonne excavator, as well Griffin Tree Services, the best part of today to open the road. “These guys really enjoyed helping out in an emergency. Tony says anyone outside that day knew just how miserable conditions were. “Thanks to everyone for their patience.”
