Bike Park

With weeks of bad weather behind them and their first big event looming, the guardians of Wairoa's new Mountain Bike Park called for help in September 2018 from one of their staunchest supporters . . . Quality Roading and Services.

It cost around $200,000 to set up on the 26-hectare Wairoa District Council site, and QRS helped with a grant of more than $7000 from its 2017/2018 sponsorship budget.

As well as getting stuck into the scrub-cutting we also delivered metal and helped provide signs for the main entrance, all of which had a massive impact on the formation of the Park and how it functions,” says Adventure Wairoa president Russell McCracken.
